Although running a company specialising in aerial imaging is a full time job, I still believe in making time to support good causes.
Having lost three family members to cancer over the years, I decided as one of my 2020 New Year resolutions to start getting more involved in supporting cancer charities.
NEW UPDATE JUNE 8
Though our lives may seem to be on hold at the moment, there is one thing that hasn’t stopped and that’s cancer.
To make sure people get the support they need during these unprecedented times, I'll be taking part in the Race for Life at Home. On Sunday June 12 , starting 11:00am, I am planning to take a short 10 mile bike ride from my home in Colchester, to the Mersea Island Fish Bar in the centre of Mersea Island. Every pound you can donate will go towards Cancer Research UK’s ground-breaking work, so please donate to my Giving Page today! Any donations people kindly made to the previous race for Life in Castle Park Colchester, are being carried over to this new event:
If you’d like to join the Race for Life at Home community, then sign up at raceforlife.org/athome
We might be apart, but we’re doing this together.
Thank you in advance!
UPDATE 20/04/2020: Due to Covid 19, the date of the race has been moved to October 4 starting at 11:30am. All other details remain the same. Hope to see you there!
UPDATE 05/06/2020: Cancer UK have now decided to cancel all Race for Life events for the rest of 2020 which obviously means the Colchester event is cancelled too. HOWEVER, not to be beaten, I am arranging a Race from Home event, details of which I will be posting shortly so watch this space!
